Rainy Friday!

It's one  of those days when I would LOVE to have a life of leisure where I could just lay in bed with a great cup of coffee, a fabulous book, and no list of things that HAVE to be done yesteday!  But alas, that is not the life I live - and truth be told - this life isn't so bad either!

This week has flown by.  I have worked diligently but haven't seemed to finish any one thing - 3 steps forward, 2 steps back.  Maybe I'm just headed in the wrong direction?!  Anyway, here are some snippets of a few of the projects I'm working on.  Between pumpkin carving with first graders and a side trip to pick up some treasures (thanks Craigslist) for my sister's wedding, I hope to complete something today!  And when I do, I promise to post pics with entire pieces showing!

Our mini vacay...

Good Morning!

We are back from our little mini-vacation to Chattanooga, TN and getting ready for our first playoff game for this football season!  The weather is cool and crisp; the perfect Fall day!

The Tennessee Aquarium was fabulous and well worth the visit. It's just enough of a mix of museum and hands on to keep everyone in the family interested.  And my Cowboy thinks he just might live in Chattanooga when he grows up....according to him, it's big city enough without suffocating him!  A man after my own heart!

Have you ever been to Chattanooga?

If you ever get the chance, you should stop in and visit.  It was a great break for us!

And then I came home and got these two treasures to add to the garage!

Productive day!

I'm on a roll now!  I finished three more projects yesterday, had my kiddos home with me for Fall Break, and found a soon to be treasure.  Here are the completed projects and I'll post about my new found love in the next few days - I'm going to really try to do better at blogging again! Oh, and I'm taking the next two days off to go on a mini-vacation to enjoy the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga!
